SANAA, Jan. 19 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology on Friday expected rain of varying intensity, formation of water torrents, and fog in several Yemeni provinces over the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin, the center predicted varying intensity rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, and parts of the Tihama Plain and the coasts of the provinces of Hodeida and Hajjah. It is possible to extend to the west of Bayda, Marib, and Jawf provinces.

There is also the possibility of the formation of water torrents and fog on the slopes of the provinces of Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Sanaa, Raymah, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, and Dhalea, the center said.

The Center warned citizens against being in the valleys and crossing the torrential passages during and after rainfall. It emphasized the need for caution, alertness, and seeking shelter from thunderstorms.
