Hamas expresses its readiness to agree on common national vision for managing Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” expressed on Tuesday its readiness to agree on what it called a “common national vision” for managing the Gaza Strip, in the wake of the devastating war launched by the Israeli occupation forces more than 100 days ago.

Member of the Hamas political bureau, Ghazi Hamad, said in televised statements, “The Israeli war on the Gaza Strip must establish a new Palestinian path.”

He stressed at the same time that the Hamas movement represents part of the Palestinian national fabric, and there cannot be any national arrangements without it.

Hamad denied Hamas’ adherence to governance in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing “the need for governance in the Strip to be based on Palestinian national consensus and not to impose on the Palestinians what is not in their interest.”
