US-backed Israeli genocide continues in Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – The number of Palestinians martyred as a result of the genocidal war waged the US-backed Zionist enemy since Oct.7on Gaza has reached 24,285, and the wounded to 61,154, Gaza-based Ministry of Health said in a statement on Tuesday.

Spokesman of the ministry, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, affirmed that the occupation army has committed 15 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 158 martyrs and injuring 20 injuries during the past 24 hours.

“A number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them,” he added.

Al-Qudra announced that operating rooms had run out of nitrous gas and a severe shortage of other medical gases.

The spokesman warned of serious health complications to which chronic patients being exposed, noting that 350,000 chronic patients need to medicines in the Gaza Strip.

He called on international institutions to urgently provide medicines for these patients.
