IRGC fires ballistic missiles at “espionage” centers in Syria, Iraq

TEHRAN, Jan. 16 (YPA) -The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Tuesday the targeting of “espionage centers belonging to Zionist Mossad and terrorists” in Erbil, Iraq, and gathering of terrorists in Syria linked to terrorist attack the country recently, with ballistic missiles.

The IRGC said in a statement that our ballistic missiles hit one of the main headquarters of the Israeli Secret Intelligence Service (Mossad) in Iraqi Kurdistan and destroyed it. The headquarters was reportedly the center for developing special operations and planning terrorist attacks in the Middle East region, in particular in Iran.

The IRGC added that it targeted terrorist leaders and gatherings in Syria responsible for planning an attack in Kerman.

An Iraqi security source said that Harir Air Base and Erbil International Airport were attacked with missiles and drones.

Erbil Airport suspended air traffic following explosions in the city – per security sources cited by Reuters.
