US ship reportedly targeted near Aden

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – Yemeni naval forces targeted a ship in the Red Sea that was heading to Israel, A Yemeni military source told Al-Jazeera TV on Monday.

Al Jazeera quoted the source as saying that “the attack came after the ship refused to respond to the warnings issued to it.”

In the same context, the US Central Command said on Monday that “a US ship was hit by a ballistic missile launched by Ansarullah off the coast of Yemen.”

Meanwhile, The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a vessel was hit from above by a missile 95 nautical miles southeast of Yemen’s Aden.
