Demonstration held in New York in solidarity with Gaza, Yemen

WORLD, Jan. 13 (YPA) -Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at Times Square in New York City and outside the White House to protest US and British strikes against Yemen and in support of Palestine.

The demonstrators closed First Avenue, located near the United Nations headquarters, and then moved north.

As the Israeli occupation war on the Gaza Strip continues for nearly 100 days, Washington and London resumed launching military strikes on sites in Sanaa at dawn on Saturday.

Yesterday, the Yemeni events topped the list of international news, where former US Department of Defense officer and analyst Michael Maalouf stated that after the attack on Yemen, the situation may get out of control, and the war could expand and cover at least three or four fronts.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, announced that Russia calls on the international community to condemn the attack by the United States and its allies on Yemen without a mandate from the United Nations.
