About 22 Zionist soldiers killed during week in Gaza: Abu Obaida

GAZA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – Military spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, announced on Tuesday that Al-Qassam fighters had killed 22 Zionist soldiers during the past week.

Abu Obaida said in a statement about 42 Israeli military vehicles were destroyed completely or partially.

He added that dozens of the Zionist soldiers were killed and wounded in 52 different military missions, using missiles, anti-fortified devices, anti-personnel devices, machine guns, and sniper weapons.

The spokesman affirmed that a house, 4 tunnel entrances and a minefield were blown up in the enemy soldiers, and a surface-to-air missile was fired at a helicopter in the sky of the Strip.
“Our fighters shot down a Hermes 900 reconnaissance plane and seized a Skylark plane and two drones,” he revealed.

Abu Obaida continued: “Our fighters destroyed headquarters, field command rooms, and military concentrations with mortar shells and short-range missiles on all fronts of the fighting, as well as Tel Aviv and its surroundings was targeted with an intense missile barrage.”
