Japan earthquake death toll rises to 126

WORLD, Jan. 07 (YPA)- Japanese authorities announced today that the death toll from the earthquake that hit Ishikawa Prefecture and surrounding areas in the center of the country last Monday has risen to 126 .

“So far, the earthquake has killed 126 people, while 210 are still missing in Ishikawa Prefecture,” Japanese Kyodo news agency reported, citing local authorities.

Authorities are struggling with deliveries of relief supplies from quake-damaged roads.

According to a previous toll today, the death toll from the earthquake reached 100.
