SANAA, Jan. 03 (YPA) – The Minister of Transport in the Sanaa caretaker government, Abdulwahab Al-Durrah, confirmed on Wednesday that maritime navigation in the Red Sea is proceeding normally.

The Minister of Transport indicated that through daily follow-up, it was noted that up to 1 or 2% was the number that decreased from usual due to the American militarization of the Red Sea.

He stated that the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Sanaa follows daily maritime traffic, and the ports of Yemen and the countries bordering the Red Sea have not been affected, and all of them are operating regularly and without any problems.

For his part, Director of Environment and Maritime Navigation Safety at the Ministry of Transport, Arafat Al-Nashi, said that the ministry sent reassuring messages that included confirmation that the Yemeni ports are safe.
