Israeli army declares name of top officer killed in Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 01 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army announced on Monday the killing of an additional officer in battles breaking out in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the deaths of its officers and soldiers to 507 since October 7.

The occupation army stated that Major General (Res.) Amichai Yisrael Yehoshua Oster, who served in Battalion 7020 of the 5th Brigade, fell killed on Monday in battle in the Strip.
