Omani FM: We refuse to allow “Israel” to escape punishment

MUSCAT, Jan. 01 (YPA) – Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr AlBusaidi, announced on Sunday that his country refuses to allow Israeli entity to continue in killing the innocent people in the Gaza Strip or escaping punishment.

This came during a phone call with his British counterpart to discuss developments in the situation in Gaza and the Red Sea attacks.

The Omani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Al-Busaidi received the call from the British counterpart, during which the two sides emphasized “the continuation of international efforts to reach a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza, and to allow the continuous entry of relief materials into the Strip, in preparation for achieving the desired peace.

The minister Al-Busaidi said in a post on the “X” platform: “I will continue our efforts at the international level to end the war in Gaza.”

He added: “We reject double standards and Israel must not be allowed to continue taking innocent lives with impunity.”
