Popular demonstration in Tunisia demands expulsion of US ambassador

TUNISIA, Dec. 31 (YPA) – A massive popular demonstration was organized on Sunday in front of the US Embassy in Tunisia.

This demonstration came in support of Gaza and its resistance and to denounce the Israeli aggression that has been ongoing for 86 days.

The demonstrators also raised the Palestinian flag and demanded an end to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the expulsion of the American ambassador from the country, given Washington’s role in this war, whether through political or military support for the occupation or the crimes of genocide it is committing against the people of Gaza.

In an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV, one of the demonstrators called for ending the aggression on the conditions of the Palestinian resistance, denouncing neutrality with regard to the Palestinian issue.

He praised the Yemeni position in support of Gaza, and the operations of the Yemeni armed forces in the Red Sea against Israeli ships or those bound for the occupation ports.

Last month, Tunisia witnessed massive popular demonstrations, also in front of the American embassy, in protest against the Israeli aggression and siege of Gaza.
