Palestinian resistance inflicts heavy losses on Israeli occupation forces in Gaza Strip

GAZA, Dec. 22 (YPA)- After 77 days of “Al-Aqsa Flood” Operation, The Palestinian resistance continues to confront all attempts of Zionist enemy forces penetrating the Gaza Strip, inflicting heavy losses on their ranks.

The axes of Shamma and the southern Gaza Strip witnessed fierce battles, the most intense in Jabalia and Khan Yunis.

“In a joint operation, the fighters of Al-Quds Brigades and Al-Qassam Brigades managed to inflict 4 Zionist soldiers with casualties, both killed and wounded, after storming a house they had fortified themselves in, in the advancement axis east of Jabalia,” Al-Quds Brigades said in a statement on Friday.

According to the statement, Al-Quds Brigades bombarded Zionist military gatherings around the Abu Hurairah Mosque and the land of Abu Nuwairah in the Al-Zana area, east of Khan Younis, with a barrage of rockets and mortar shells.

They also targeted a Zionist Merkava tank with an RPG shell in the Al-Qasaib neighborhood in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

For their part, Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that their fighters targeted a Zionist tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Mahatta area in the city of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip.
