Palestinian injured, others arrested during Zionist raids into Tubas, Tammun towns

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 20 (YPA) – Several civilians were injured and arrested during military raids by Israeli occupation forces, at dawn on Wednesday, into the city of Tubas and the town of Tammun, in the West Bank.

The Israeli occupation forces raided Tubas city with several military vehicles from the eastern side, amid gunfire, and clashes took place with  Palestinian resistance fighters.

The Israeli occupation forces also raided the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, with many patrols accompanied by a military bulldozer, sparking clashes with  Palestinian resistance fighters.

Sources in the Red Crescent confirmed that a 16-year-old boy was wounded by live ammunition in the leg, from the town of Tammun, and was transferred to the Turkish Tubas Governmental Hospital for treatment.

The director of the Prisoner’s Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that the Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian citizen, who was also arrested and released two weeks ago, and posters bearing the character of threats were placed at the door of her house.

He added that a Palestinian citizen was arrested, as a kind of pressure on his brother to surrender himself, in addition to beating his son.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces destroyed parts of two houses in Tammun, owned by Jamal Ali Ahmed Bisharat and Khair Al-Din Muhammad Bisharat.
