Euro-Med Monitor: “Israel” carried out heinous torture methods against Palestinian detainees in Gaza

GAZA, Dec. 19 (YPA) – The head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory, Rami Abdu, said that they had recorded several heinous cases of torture against Palestinians arrested by the occupation from displacement centers and from their homes in the Gaza Strip.

 Abdu said in an interview with Roya that the occupation arrested more than 1,200 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

 He affirmed that the fate of these detainees is still unknown, whether they were alive or not.

“Death cases have been recorded as a result of the brutal torture of Palestinian detainees. Some of them were naked for days, in addition to using some detainees as a propaganda tool through which the fake humanity of the occupation is displayed,” he said.

 It is necessary to reveal the fate of the Palestinian detainees, about whom there is no news, he stressed, pointing out that many families are looking for a thread that connects them to any information about the fate of their children.

 He denounced the Red Cross’s actions, saying, “It is inconceivable that the Red Cross is not responding to distress calls.”
