Israeli occupation army admits that its soldiers killed 3 Israeli prisoners in Gaza

OCCUPIED QUDS, Dec. 16 (YPA) –  The Israeli occupation army has admitted that three “Israeli” prisoners were mistakenly killed in Al-Shuja’iya in the Gaza Strip by friendly fire.

The occupation army said in a statement on Friday evening that during the fighting in Al-Shuja’iya, an army force mistakenly identified three Israeli prisoners as posing a threat, and the force immediately opened fire on them, leading to their deaths.

During a survey and inspection of the area, suspicion arose about the identity of the two dead as the bodies were transported for examination in Tel Aviv, and it later became clear that they were three Israeli prisoners, the statement added.

The occupation army stated that it sent a message to the family of the third dead man, whose name would not be revealed.
