Iran FM: The genocide of Palestinians threatens international peace and security

WORLD, Dec. 13 (YPA) -Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Tuesday that Israel and the United States will never be able to wipe out Hamas, warning that the consequences of the genocide of Palestinians by the Zionists threaten international peace and security.

In a speech at the United Nations in Geneva in which he described the Islamist group as a “freedom movement,” Amir-Abdollahian said: “Israel and the United States will never be able to eliminate Hamas.”

Amir-Abdollahian said: “While we share our views here, the military attacks and genocide committed by the Israeli entity in Gaza continue by killing women, children, and ordinary citizens.

The aggression of the Zionist entity has killed more than 18,000 civilians so far, including more than 12,000 women and children, he stated, adding that the Israeli entity violated the humanitarian ceasefire.

The exchange of Israeli prisoners with more than 9,000 Palestinian prisoners has stopped.

The United States vetoed the UAE-proposed resolution that affirmed a cessation of war, a ceasefire, the reopening of the Rafah and Abu Salem borders, the dispatch of humanitarian aid including medicine, food and fuel, and the prevention of the forcible transfer of Gazans.
