Israeli occupation forces arrest director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza Strip

GAZA, Dec. 13 (YPA) – The Government Information Office in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation army arrested Ahmed Al-Kahlout, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, and took him to an unknown destination outside the hospital.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the hospital, arrested Al-Kahlout, and took him to an unknown destination.

The occupation forces also detained 70 medical staff. They asked the remaining staff to gather all patients and staff in one building.

According to Wafa news agency, Israeli occupation army soldiers stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital on Tuesday, after besieging and shelling it for several days.

“The occupation forces gathered medical staff and displaced men in the yard of Kamal Adwan Hospital,” medical sources said.

The same sources called on the United Nations, the Health Organization, and the Red Cross to act to save those in the hospital.
