Yemeni armed forces ban passage of any ships heading to Israel

SANAA, Dec. 09 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces announced this evening, Saturday, the ban on the passage of ships heading to the Zionist entity of any nationality if the necessary food and medicine did not enter the Gaza Strip.

The Yemeni Armed Forces’ spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, confirmed in a statement a shot while ago that “any ship heading to the enemy entity will be a legitimate target,” warning all ships and companies against dealing with Israeli ports.

“We will implement the decision to prevent the passage of all ships to the enemy entity from the moment this statement is announced,” General Sarie said.

He pointed out that the decision comes after the Yemeni armed forces’ success in preventing Israeli ships from navigating in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.

The spokesman renewed the Yemeni armed forces’ keenness on the continuation of the trade movement of all countries and ships except for those linked to Israeli entity or those transporting goods to Israeli ports.
