Earthquakes, sea tremors threaten first Yemeni city

SANAA, Dec. 07 (YPA) – Sea tremors that hit the Gulf of Aden over the past two days came out of its epicenter to approach land on the coast of Aden and the rest of its neighboring areas.

Centers for Monitoring and Recording Marine Tremors and Earthquakes reported that the last two tremors, which were recorded on Wednesday in the Gulf of Aden, approached the coast of Yemen about 80 km.

According to the centers, this distance may make the residents of the nearby coasts feel the sea tremors in Aden and the rest of the coastal cities.

More earthquakes and tremors may occur if the situation continues in this way due to the activity of the Gulf of Aden fault.

Aftershocks have continued over the past two days in the Gulf of Aden.
