Al-Houthi confirms illegality of American presence in Red Sea

SANAA, Dec. 04 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, said on Monday that the Americans do not have a right to the Red Sea.

“America does not accept any military presence of China, Russia, or others in the territorial waters near Florida,” Al-Houthi said in his post on the “X” platform.

Al-Houthi added that Sanaa may study the issue of accepting on the idea of the legitimacy of America’s presence in the international waters of the Red Sea by referring it to a popular referendum only if Washington accepts and acknowledges the legitimacy of the North Korean submarine or the modern Chinese aircraft carrier remaining near Florida in international waters.
