No prisoner exchange until Zionist aggression against Gaza ends completely: Hamas

BEIRUT, Dec. 03 (YPA) – Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Saleh Al-Arouri, confirmed that there are now no negotiations to exchange prisoners until the Zionist terrorist aggression ends on Gaza completely.

Al-Arouri said in an interview with Al Jazeera on Saturday that the Hamas movement announced its readiness to release the foreign prisoners without compensation, and that the prisoners from children and women would not be a target and would be released.

“The prisoners that the resistance holds are soldiers and former soldiers,” he added. There will be no negotiations regarding them until the end of the aggression.”

Al-Arouri continued: “We said from the beginning that we are ready to exchange the bodies of our martyrs detained by the occupation, but we need time to exhume the bodies of the Zionist prisoners who were killed by the occupation’s air raids on our people in Gaza.”

He affirmed that the terrorist Zionist enemy refused to complete the deal to release the former soldiers with new standards, and it believed that by resuming targeting children and women, it will acquiesce the resistance, but official position of the resistance is that the exchange deal will be discussed after the end of the war.

Al-Arouri also stressed that the forces that the Zionist army mobilized to attack Gaza are a third of its ground force and more than a third of its air force, which are sufficient forces to defeat entire countries, but we are absolutely confident that it will fail to control the Gaza Strip.
