SANAA, Dec. 03 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning reported on Sunday that most mountainous provinces and parts of deserts and inland plateaus are still affected by the cold air mass.
In its weather bulletin, the Center expected the weather to be cold to very cold in the provinces of Dhalea, Ibb, Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, and Saada, with the possibility of light frost forming during dawn and the early hours of the morning.
The weather is likely to be relatively cool to cold in the highlands of the provinces of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout Plateau, Jawf, and western Marib.
The center called on the elderly, children, patients, and workers during the late hours of the night and early morning to take the necessary precautions against the effects of the cold and extremely cold weather.
The center urged farmers to follow agricultural guidelines to protect their agricultural crops, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers, and poultry, from the effects of extreme cold.
It also warned seagoers and fishermen in the Socotra Archipelago, the south of the western coast, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab of the turbulent sea and high waves.
