18 bombing incidents recorded in Abyan within three months

ABYAN, Dec. 01 (YPA) – The circle of security chaos in Abyan province has expanded since the UAE-backed factions took control of the province’s district in August 2022.

Media outlets loyal to the Saudi-led coalition reported that the concerned authorities recorded 18 incidents of bombings using explosive devices during the past three months, all of which were attributed to an unknown person, leaving a number of dead and wounded.

The media outlets confirmed an increase in violations, including 24 incidents of forced theft, kidnapping, and serious intentional harm by elements loyal to the UAE-backed Sothern Transitional Council (STC), in addition to 20 incidents of house theft and violations of the sanctity of its residents, which expanded following the raids carried out by the elements.

The outlets noted the spread of hashish and drugs among young people, as 21 incidents of hashish use and possession were recorded during that period, which portends a disaster for society and the spread of crime.
