Driver shot dead in drive-by shooting in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 27 (YPA) – A truck driver was killed on Monday in a shooting at the coalition-held city of Aden, south Yemen.

A human rights source in the city said the gunman on a motorbike believed to belong to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions opened fire at the driver, Walid Al-Yafei, in Dar Saad area.

He explained that the gunman fled after the crime to an unknown destination, despite the deployment of military points in the area.

This comes as an extension of the security chaos ravaging the city due to the spread of factions loyal to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which are causing terror among the people.
