Decision to target Israeli enemy’s ships in Red Sea is in effect: Al-Ruwaishan

SANAA, Nov. 25 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister of the Sanaa Government for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, confirmed on Saturday that the decision to close the Red Sea to the Israeli enemy has still been effected.

Al-Ruwaishan told Al-Mayadeen TV: “The truce concerns Gaza, and the Yemeni military spokesman announced that our decision to close the Red Sea to the enemy still effects.”

He pointed out that the Yemeni position was clearly declared officially and popularly, and there was no longer any diplomatic language.

“Yemen’s standing by Palestine is a national, Arab, patriotic and moral duty,” Lt Gen. Al-Ruwaishan said. “We are ready for any consequences and any aggression.”

Previously, the Yemeni naval forces confirmed that they will continue to carry out military operations against the ships of the Israeli occupation and its interests “until its aggression its and crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza stop,” stressing that the operations against ships that fly the Israeli flag, or manage by Israeli companies.

Last week, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced they launched a batch of winged missiles that targeted multiple military targets of the Israeli entity in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat settlement), south of occupied Palestine.
