Once again, “Freedom Dance” returns to football stadiums

WORLD, Nov. 25 (YPA) – After becoming an icon of solidarity with the Palestinian people to confront “Israel”, the “Freedom Dance” recently entered the football stadiums.

Algerian Dirar Ben Saadallah, the football player of Jordan’s Ma’an Sports Club, created the event with his liberation dance to recreate the scenario of MC football star Youssef Belaili.

Dirar bin Saadallah raised the Palestinian flag while celebrating the dance of freedom, and the Jordanian media said about the incident, “It happened in our Jordanian league, the Algerian player Dirar bin Saadallah Ibn Al-Ahrar, the Jordanian player Ma’an Club.”

On the pitch of the match  MC Alger vs JS Saoura in the Algerian football championship, Algeria star Belaili celebrated his goal with the Freedom Dance, carrying the Palestinian flag, in a shot that was the match’s highlight.

The “dance of the earth,” as social media users call it, has become a popular expression of support for the people of Gaza and has been used in several fields.

It was performed by a young Palestinian during clashes with Israeli forces five years ago.

In conjunction with the events in Gaza, activists on social media reposted the video showing the young Palestinian dancing with clips from other songs, while others tried to imitate the dance as well, many people said the dance is the same as the indigenous people of America.
