Meshaal: Al-Aqsa flood Operation inflicted psychological, military and intelligence defeats on Israeli occupation

WORLD, Nov. 25 (YPA) – Khaled Meshaal, head of Hamas’ political office abroad, said on Friday that what the Zionist occupation did towards Al-Aqsa, acceleration of demolition plans, and plans of extremist ministers to complete Judaization of the West Bank and Jerusalem and the displacement of its people were the motive for October 7.

Mashaal added during his speech at a conference organized by the World Islamic Forum of Parliamentarians that the suffering of more than 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons, the slow death of Gaza after 17 years of siege, and the return of the issue to its true essence that it is a battle of occupation and settlement, all of this was present at the leadership of the movement and our victorious battalions when they decided to launch the Al-Aqsa flood.

He stressed the evolution of the work of the resistance from the uprisings and wars on Gaza, to taking a big step like the flood of Al-Aqsa, on our long road to the liberation of Palestine.

“The impressive performance of Al-Qassam elite mujahideen to confront the ground forces penetrating into Gaza shows the quality of the training, as well as sincere faith and adherence to the Quran,” he said.

“If Algerians, Afghans, and Vietnamese had listened to the defeatists who demanded that we surrender, Algeria, Afghanistan, and Vietnam would not have been liberated from colonialism and occupation.”

He pointed out that “the flood of Al-Aqsa inflicted a psychological, military, and intelligence defeat on the occupation, and this defeat will be completed soon, God willing.”
