Palestinian Health Ministry condemns arrest of director of Shifa Medical Complex by Zionist enemy

GAZA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health on Thursday strongly condemned the arrest of the director of the Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Mohammed Abu Salmiya by the forces of the Zionist enemy, and a number of doctors, after they were arrested on the road linking the northern and southern Gaza Strip.

According to the (Palestine Today) Agency, Health Minister May al-Kailah said in a statement that this attack is in addition to the series of crimes committed by enemy forces against the health and humanitarian system in the Gaza Strip, which bombed and stormed many hospitals, killing and injuring hundreds of doctors and nurses.

Al-Kailah called on the UN General Assembly, International Human Rights Institutions, the International Committee of the Red Cross and all UN bodies to put pressure on the Zionist enemy authorities to stop their aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
