Meteorology issues warning about weather conditions in Yemen

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology in Sanaa issued an important warning about the cold weather in several Yemeni provinces.

In its weather bulletin on Tuesday, the center indicated the possibility of fog forming on parts of the mountains of Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Dhamar and Ibb, with the possibility of light to moderate rain falling on the Socotra Archipelago.

The center reported that the cold weather would focus on the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Al-Dhalea, Bayda, Ibb, Lahj, and Abyan, in addition to Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, Dhalea and Taiz.

It called on motorists to drive carefully as a result of low horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog.
