New price for oil derivatives raises citizens’ dissatisfaction in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 21 (YPA) – The government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition approved on Tuesday a new increase in the selling prices of oil derivatives in the city of Aden and the rest of the southern provinces under the control of the pro-coalition factions, which left a state of widespread popular discontent.

An official source said, “The government’s Ministry of Oil directed the oil company in Aden to raise the sale of gasoline to 25,700 riyals per 20-liter gallon, and 29,000 riyals for diesel.”

Petrol and diesel prices have risen due to the local currency’s decline against the dollar, which has surpassed 1,505 riyals in the past hours.
