Commander, dozens of militias killed, injured in Taiz attack

TAIZ, Feb. 6 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi coalition-backed militias were killed and injured, including commander of Amalikah Brigade Raeed al Yafiey when the Yemeni army repelled an advance in Khokha city late on Monday, an army official said. 

TAIZ, Feb. 6 (YPA) – Dozens of Saudi coalition-backed militias were killed and injured, including commander of Amalikah Brigade Raeed al Yafiey when the Yemeni army repelled an advance in Khokha city late on Monday, an army official said.

The clashes took place in Yakhtil area east of Khokha.

Around 20 military vehicles of the coalition-backed militias were destroyed.

Commander al Yafiey was among the injured, and he was airlifted to the United Arab Emirates for treatment.
Tens of dead bodies were still in the roads between Arfan and Hais area.
