Update: Death toll from Zionist aggression against Gaza has risen to 11,660 martyrs

GAZA, Nov. 16 (YPA) – The death toll from the Zionist aggression on Gaza Strip rose on Thursday to 11,660 martyrs, including 4,707 children, 3,155 women, and 668 elderly people, while about 32,000 others were injured.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in its daily report that the number of martyrs had risen to 11,660 and about 32,000 injured since the beginning of the comprehensive Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7.

The Ministry stated that the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip as of November 15 reached 11,470, including 4,707 children, 3,155 women, and 686 elderly people, while the number of injured reached about 29,000.

Among the martyrs were 203 health personnel and 36 martyrs from the Civil Defense, in addition to more than 210 wounded health personnel, according to the ministry.

On November 15, Israeli occupation forces, including tanks, stormed Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City. They reportedly stormed several departments, searched them, and interrogated people, and the bombing hit parts of the hospital and caused damage to them, according to the ministry’s report.

The ministry indicated that 40 patients were martyred in Al-Shifa Complex, including three premature babies, since November 11, due to a lack of fuel and the closure of the complex departments after the Zionist enemy forces besieged it, adding that there is no drinking water or food in Al-Shifa Hospital, neither for patients nor for employees.

The report confirmed that the medical teams inside the Al-Shifa Complex cannot move between the complex’s departments and buildings because an Israeli drone opened fire on everyone who moved inside or around the complex.
