SYRIA, Nov. 09 (YPA) – Violent clashes broke out on Thursday between the Syrian army and the American occupation forces in Deir Ezzor city in eastern Syria.
Al-Mayadeen TV quoted a local source as saying: Various types of weapons, including medium, heavy artillery, and missiles, were used in the clashes.
The source stressed that the clashes began after the American forces waged an aggression on the eastern neighborhoods of the city.
Meanwhile, a US military base in the Koniko natural gas field, in the northeastern Syrian province of Deir Ezzor, was bombed by missiles and drones, leading to explosions that were heard in the area, according to a field source to Al-Mayadeen.
The source also confirmed that the US base in the al-Omar oil field, east of the province, was targeted with six missiles in response to the American aggression that targeted the eastern neighborhoods of the city of Deir Ezzor.
