Palestine’s FM: Israeli occupation kidnaps over two million civilians hostage in Gaza

GAZA, Nov. 06 (YPA) – Palestine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Monday that the Israeli occupation has kidnapped more than two million civilians hostage in the Gaza Strip.

The ministry said in a statement that the international community is facing a final test regarding assuming its responsibilities and its ability to force the Israeli occupation to stop its war and liberate more than two million Palestinians it has kidnapped as hostages.”

“Israeli officials and others are focusing on the issue of approximately 240 Israeli prisoners detained in the Gaza Strip in the context of their search for more legitimacy and justifications for devastating war on the Gaza Strip, while the occupation is detaining 2,400 million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip.” the statement revealed. The occupation takes them hostage, tortures them, kills them, forces them to flee and leave their homes, throws their lives into the unknown under brutal criminal bombardment, completely paralyzes their movement, in addition to its internationally prohibited weapons that chase citizens, who search for any safe place to take refuge to, and deprive them of their most basic rights and basic needs, such as electricity Water, food, medicine, fuel, and communications.”

The ministry’s statement expressed its regret to some countries’ talk about working to release the Israelis, while the issue of liberating 2,400 million Palestinians who are kidnapped by the occupation has been ignored through the indiscriminate and devastating bombing that targets citizens in every place in the Gaza Strip and creates an unprecedented state of panic among women, children, and the elderly.

The Ministry urged the international community to remain credibility regarding assuming its responsibilities and its ability to force the Israeli occupation to protect civilians and to stop its devastating war on the Gaza Strip.
