Malaysia PM: Destruction in Gaza exceeds damage of Hiroshima

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov. 05 (YPA) – Malaysian Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, said that the extent of the damage caused by the Israeli occupation bombing of Gaza since last October 7 exceeded the damage of the American atomic bomb that targeted the Japanese city of Hiroshima during World War II.

This came during a joint news conference held by Ibrahim with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida after a meeting in Kuala Lumpur.

Earlier, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Right Monitor said in a post on the “X” platform that the bombs dropped on Gaza were 1.5 times more powerful than the Hiroshima explosion.

It added that 25 tons of bombs were dropped on Gaza between October 7 and November 2, while 15 tons of bombs were fallen on Hiroshima during World War II.
