Aden merchants protest against levies of pro-coalition factions with unexpected way

ADEN, Nov. 01 (YPA) – The shop owners in the city of Aden have taken new methods of protest in the face of the imposition of taxes and royalties by the leaders of the factions loyal to the Saudi-led coalition.

Local sources in the city reported that one of the investors suddenly closed his commercial shop, a “food restaurant,” in rejection of the huge taxes imposed by the leaders of the UAE-backed factions, amid the widening phenomenon of closing restaurants as a result of the taxes and expensive free meals for the faction leaders.

The sources confirmed that the “Al-Safina Restaurant,” located on Street 90 in the Al-Mansoura area, closed its doors due to free food and daily taxes imposed by the leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions.
