Afar Customs Center in Bayda seizes illegal pesticides

BAYDA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – The Afar Customs Center in Al-Bayda Governorate successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of banned pesticides, in collaboration with local security forces.

Ali Saraqah, the Deputy Director of the center for Customs Control, confirmed that the seizure included 42 cartons containing 840 cans of the prohibited chemicals.

He emphasized that this operation is part of ongoing efforts by the center to strengthen surveillance and control at border crossings.
