Shoigu: More than 90,000 Ukrainian soldiers killed or injured

WORLD, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced that the losses of Ukrainian forces during their counteroffensive exceeded 90,000 people, dead and wounded, without achieving success on the ground.

“Since June 4, the beginning of the widely publicized and generously sponsored Ukrainian counteroffensive from the West, Kiev has lost more than 90,000 soldiers killed or wounded,” Shoigu said at the 10th Xiangshan Security Forum in Beijing.

He added that Ukrainian forces had incurred about 600 tanks and 1.9 thousand armored vehicles of various categories in losses and Ukraine had failed to achieve any tactically significant successes.

Russian forces “will systematically continue the tasks entrusted to them and ensure the safety of civilians”, he said.
