SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected scattered showers, accompanied by thunderstorms, in a number of provinces of Yemen.
The center affirmed that, in its weather bulletin on Thursday, rainfall may prevail over the southwestern coasts of the provinces of Aden, Abyan, Lahj, and the western Gulf of Aden, extending to include parts of the western coasts of Hajjah, Hodeida, and Taiz.
Rain is also expected to fall on parts of the mountainous highlands of Bayda, Dhalea, Ibb, Dhamar, Rayma, Sanaa, Hajjah, Mahweet and Amran province, in addtoin to on parts of the plateaus and deserts of the Marib, Shabwa, Jawf, Hadramout, Mahra and the Socotra Archipelago.
The Meteorological Center warned citizens in areas where rain expected to fall in the depths of valleys and flood paths and against low horizontal visibility during and after rain.
