Yemeni riyal hits new low against foreign currencies in Aden

SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – The exchange markets in Aden and the southern and eastern provinces witnessed on Thursday a significant jump for the dollar against the local currency, the Yemeni riyal.

The exchange rate of the US dollar exceeded 1,500 Yemeni riyals, and the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal exceeded 397 riyals.

Meanwhile, the currency trading rates in areas under the control of the Sanaa government reached 529 riyals to the dollar and 140.50 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
