LAHJ, Oct. 10 (YPA) – A new escalation by armed factions affiliated with the UAE and Saudi Arabia was carried out in Ras Al-Ara area of Lahj province, southern Yemen.
According to local sources, UAE-backed Tariq Saleh’s forces pushed military reinforcements to the areas near Ras Al-Ara and created military sites on the outskirts of camps belonging to the so-called Saudi-formed Dara Al-Watan (Nation Shield) forces.
The sources stated that Tariq’s forces seeking to surround these camps in a new escalation between the coalition factions loyal to the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Observers believed that these developments came in the context of the Saudi-UAE conflict in the vital areas of southern and eastern Yemen, amid expectations of a massive battle erupting between the two poles of the coalition.
