Sanaa condemns terrorist attack on Syrian academy in Homs

SANAA, Oct. 06 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa  strongly condemned the atrocious terrorist act that targeted the graduation ceremony for Military Academy cadets in Homs.

In a statement issued, the Ministry reiterated Yemen’s unwavering stance against extremism and terrorism in all its forms, recognizing them as threats to international peace and security and as contrary to the values of true Islam.

The statement conveyed Yemen’s solidarity with the leadership and people of sisterly Syria in the face of criminal acts aimed at destabilizing security and stability within the country.

On Thursday, Syrian Health Minister Hasan Ghabbagh announced that the death toll from the terrorist attack on the graduation ceremony of Military Academy cadets in Homs has risen to 80, including six women and six children.
