Pro-coalition government terminates duties of 25 military attaches

ADEN, Oct. 05 (YPA) – The government loyal to the Suadi-led coalition has terminated the duties of 25 military attachés in 15 Arab and foreign countries after summoning them without paying their financial dues.

The government has terminated the work of military attachés, their deputies, and their assistants, including the son of former Defense Minister Hisham Muhammad Ali Al-Maqdishi, who has been working as a deputy military attaché in Washington, without paying their dues.

Diplomatic sources have described summoning military attaches and abruptly ending their work without any explanation as an “illegal coup.”

Those who were summoned come from Abyan and Shabwa provinces and were appointed during the past years by the decisions of Abd Rabbuh Hadi and the president of the pro-coalition “Leadership Council,” Rashad Al-Alimi, during the past months, according to the sources.
