Ministry of Information mourns death of Journalist Hodhaifa Ali Al-Wasabi

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The Ministry of Information mourned on Thursaday  the death of media photographer, Hodhaifa Ali Al-Wasabi, who died while covering the celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sanaa.

In a statement, obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Information commended the journalist Al-Wasabi for his exceptional contributions to covering the celebration of this religious occasion. It also highlighted his role in broadcasting the scenes of the event live and directly through various media outlets.

The statement emphasized that with the passing of martyr Al-Wasabi, the nation lost one of its dedicated media professionals. He was recognized as one of the steadfast and loyal young men committed to their country and its people.

The Ministry of Information expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to his family, all of Al-Wasabi, his colleagues, fans, and the media community regarding this great loss.
