Passengers killed in Mahweet traffic accident

MAHWEET, Sept. 24 (YPA) – About eight people, including four women, were killed on Sunday in a traffic accident in Bani Saad district of Mahweet province.

The province’s Traffic Police department stated that the accident resulted from a collision between a locomotive and a bus, killing the bus driver and 8 passengers, including four women.

The department explained that the reasons were due to the negligence of the locomotive driver.

It indicated that all the bodies were transferred to the hospital.
