UNHCR’s office activities in Sanaa discussed

SANAA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – The Foreign Minister, Hisham Sharaf, discussed on Sunday with the Acting Resident Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCR), Safir Al-Din Sayed, the activities of the Office of the High Commissioner in Sanaa.

He also called on the UNHCR office to intensify technical and financial support for the Yemeni authorities.

For his part, the Acting Resident Representative of UNHCR affirmed the commitment of the High Commissioner to protect and report human rights in Yemen.
