Military official in army forces assassinated in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 24 (YPA) – A military official belonging to the army forces in Marib was assassinated mysteriously, and his personal belongings and weapons were looted.

According to local sources, unknown gunmen assassinated the supply officer of the First Infantry Brigade Jebli, Ahmed Lahib, in Al-khusaif area of Marib.

The sources added that the perpetrators looted the military official’s pick-up vehicle, weapons and all his belongings and threw his body on the roadside.

It is worth mentioning that his brother, a specialist in supplying the military region in the province, has already been assassinated.
