Update: Truck bomb kills at least 30 in central Somalia

WORLD, Sept 23 (YPA) – At least 30 people were killed on Saturday when a truck exploded in central Somalia, the country’s media reported.

Somalia media quoted police as saying in a statement that at least 30 people were killed in a truck bomb explosion at a checkpoint in central Somalia.

The statement said police cordoned the scene after hundreds of soldiers were deployed.
