Leader of Revolution announces date for radical changes in Sanaa

SANAA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced on Thursday that the date for radical changes in government institutions in Sanaa will be launched on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday.

He stressed, in a speech on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, that the extent of the imbalances in the official situation requires a radical change that will restore hope and recovery to the people.

“Working to reform the state’s institutions is a national necessity, a popular demand, and an important basis for the country’s steadfastness in the face of enemies and turning the challenge into an opportunity,” al-Houthi stressed.

He affirmed that the priority after confronting the coalition is to correct the situation in state institutions as a primary goal of our revolution and as a popular demand.

“The scale of the war, the siege, and the hostile conspiracies have taken a greater role in the dire situation of state institutions,” the leader added. “It is the main reason for the cessation of salaries, the primary source of which was oil and gas revenues.”

Sayyed Al-Houthi pointed out that the new phase in state institutions will require our country to transform into a producer and not dependent on imports for everything.

He explaining that the foundations and starting points that Sanaa will rely on for radical change are “the faith identity of our people, and a comprehensive vision within the framework of commonalities and national partnership, as well as achieving independence and freedom for our country.
